7. When in Doubt Grab a Shopping Bag
Many of us have been guilty of overstuffing our bags and arriving at the airport with more baggage than we came with. Have you been asked to remove weight from your luggage? Asked to pay more? Only been allowed one carry-on? You’re not alone. Next time pack an empty shopping bag and put all your extra content in there. Chances are the flight attendants will think you just purchased them while you were waiting for your flight and won’t charge you for extra baggage.
